Collage illustrations inspired by Eric Carle (EYFS - Y4)

During our work in our PSHE lessons we have been looking at the idea of change, how we change ourselves and how animals and plants in the world around us change. One or our favourite writers and illustrators Eric Carle has created a whole range of books all about change from the hungry caterpillar to the tiny seed.

We started by creating our own textured papers through marbling, printing and painting before putting together our collaged creatures.
