Inspired by William Morris' infamous wallpaper designs we combined different printing methods to create our own wallpaper samples. We began by collecting flora and fauna from around our school grounds and made careful drawings and transferred them to printing foam. We stuck to a muted tones colour palette in the style of his Morris' work and we are really pleased with our outcomes!
As our school is in such a remote location spread over 4 islands some of our classes have mixed age groups this project was run with children from EYFS to year 6 all having a go at the same activity.
