Prayer Flags for a Peaceful World Years 1-6

With all the chaos and disruption in the world around us at the moment in our Religion & World Views learning with Mrs Thornton we have been looking at the power of prayer and finding out all about the use of prayer flags. This has been a through school project from year 1 to year 6 every child in primary has created their very own prayer flag for a peaceful world to hang around our school.

We explored the wax resist technique and used vibrant inks over oil pastel to create bright, bold and cheerful designs.
